So what is BMR technology?. BMR stands for Balanced Mode Radiator. Probably the
biggest advance in loudspeaker technology for the past 50 years enabling much simpler
crossover design and implementation. A deeper understanding is available at

A BMR is a pistonic device using a flat panel. By careful design, this unit is capable
of astounding audio quality and is exceptionally linear right up to and beyond the
normal 20000Hz region. There the similarity with conventional drivers ends.

A loudspeaker using BMR technology has a wider ‘sweet spot’, greater imaging, that
is to say height, width and depth, but with this technology, the off-axis response is
considerably improved. Also, a trait inherent in BMRs is that they play with just as
much clarity at low volumes as high.
